Rate Limits on the Compensations API (v2)

What's changing
To keep the Compensations API stable for all customers, we are lowering its rate limit.
- From the effective date, each of the endpoints above allows up to 5 requests per second per company.
Requests over the limit receive 429 Too Many Requests. The limit resets every second, so wait 1 second before retrying; if you are still rejected, back off further (for example 2, then 4 seconds).
What you need to do
- Stay under 5 requests per second per endpoint for your company.
- Retry on
429with a backoff, and stop after a few attempts instead of retrying indefinitely.
