API To Check Login Process as Authentication for our employees

Hi Everyone and support team,

I am going to write a plugin in order to integrate the login with email and password of personio for my website. I read the documentation but I do not find any thing about the authentication of users input which base on username and password.

the plugin should work like Facebook login.

Do you provide an api like that or suggest me whatever that is possible to write a new plugin.
