Webhook Meta Object Decoration
Hi Personio Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well and a happy new year!
I had a question regarding your webhooks functionality as we're looking at using it for an Absence-period integration to trigger off multiple create / update events in order for us to sync Personio data across to another HR management system for a period of crossover in system migration.
The challenge we have is that as part of this integration we would like our webhook to send in the payload all of the relevant attribute data from the underlying absence-period which has been created / updated such that we can simply accept and process the inbound event in our additional system without having to callback to Personio to get the required details. As standard the Webhooks we have tested with setting up only send us an absence-period ID, but from the documentation it sounds as though the "meta" object in the payload has been designed such that we can decorate it with key/value pairs to include additional data we're interested in sending as part of the payload. Could you confirm whether or not this is indeed accurate and if so how we are able to decorate this meta object with data from the triggering record (absence-period in our instance)?
Many thanks in advance,
Owen
