I don't see the possibility to get the FTE metric for one month for an employee (or all) via the API.
But I think it should be possible to calculate by retrieving the weekly_working_hours form the employement, as well as the start / end date of the employment. In addition with absences it should be possible to calculate the possible working days multiply it with the weekly working hours and divide it by the full time hours.

Am I missing something?

However, in our instance the Employment API does not yield the start / end date of the employment.
Is it scoped to a certain permission?
