Accessing the Attendance Timer via API (Start/Stop & Status)

Is it possible to interact with the Attendance timer via the Personio API?
Specifically, I’d like to know if there is a way to:

Start or stop the running timer (e.g. start working time or pause time), and

Retrieve the current timer state (whether it’s currently tracking working time or break time).

If this isn’t possible directly, is there an alternative way to replicate this behavior using the Attendance API (e.g. open-ended attendances)?
