Important Update – Migration to Personio’s .com Domain
What’s Changing?
Personio is migrating its primary web domains from .de to .com to support global expansion.
Web Access
- Customers accessing .personio.de will be automatically redirected to .app.personio.com.
- New customers will use .app.personio.com directly.
Emails
- Most emails from Personio will now come from _@personio.com_ instead of _@personio.de_.
What You Need to Do
- Inform your IT teams to
- add .app.personio.com to your allowlist for web access.
- add _@personio.com_ to your email safelist to avoid spam filtering.
There are no changes to the Public API, which remains under .de. There will be no impact to existing integrations.
Timeline
Migration will occur between March 10 – March 31. We’ll provide updates to ensure a smooth transition.

No, there is no impact on data storage policies or customer data.
All data residency requirements remain unchanged.
Will this affect the Public Api or Integrations?
There are no changes and the Public API will remain on .de.

For Customers using Personio Recruiting, will this change my career page domain or email address that I currently use for recruiting?
No, this change does not impact your career page domain or your recruiting email address. Your current career page URL will continue to work and you will still be able to send emails as before.
