skip_approval doesn't seem to work

Hi there. When I submit attendances through the API, the optional parameter "skip_approval" doesn't seem to work anymore. It doesn't matter if I omit the parameter or if I explicitly set it to true. All created attendances are pending.

Is this an intentional or unintentional API change, or could it be a configuration or policy change that no longer permits skipping approvals?
