API character encoding list compensations UTF-8?

Hi,
I'm trying to get our compensation data from Personio using Workato. It is a http request.

When I call "List Compensation Types" I get all types with German umlauta and apecial characters. I belive it is UTF-8 encoded. But when I retrieve "List Compensations" I get the same types with incorrect characters as if it were formatted in ASCII.
I don't now how to deal with this because I can't retroactively code it.
Is there a bug?
